Beware of pseudo-conservative senators looking for another job.
Kay...is a senator...which means she can barely operate a toaster, let alone run a state or a country.
Senators live in a detached world of sycophants, fantasy and narcissism. They are never really responsible for anything and all they mostly do is talk and maneuver. I really wish it was different, but very few of our senators are real executive and principled leaders.
Governors and Mayors, on the other hand, are the real trench warriors and the best leaders.
We, as a country need, to start thinking about actual qualifications and not make believe qualifications. Kay, is cool, but not a strong leader...to my knowledge she has a track record of achievement close to that of Obama, basically nothing done.
The fact Cheney endorses her is more of the back slapping, image over content pay back that is constant currency in the Senate and DC as a whole. It really is tiring. The fact that we have a less than two term narcissistic child in the White house should turn anyone with half a brain away from picking another Senator child for an executive position.
Texas is kicking butt. It has the strongest economy, clearest leadership that we have seen in years. Do Texans really want to give up their thriving and strong economy and leadership, by electing Kay...are you kidding me...no way...very stupid move. The state is very strong because of very strong conservative leadership.
We need real, strong, tested, clear and conservative leadership.
“Pseudo-conservative” is another word for “moderate”. Moderate is another word for “confused”.
What is a “moderate” conservative...? What issues are they moderate on?
Are they moderate on low taxes?...i.e. High taxes are ok?
Are they moderate on faith?...i.e. Faith when it is convenient?
Are they moderate on the first amendment?...i.e. The right should apply to those who are “moderate”?
Are they moderate on the second amendment?...i.e. Only the military should have guns?
Are they moderate on life?...i.e. The “value” of the life is determined by the mom?
Are they moderate on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Are they moderate on the Constitution they, incorrectly, think is a “living” document? If it is “living” than they have the intellectual opportunity to rationalize away the hard parts. Moderates love rationalizing.
What “moderate” really means is a general lack of clarity and clear understanding of fundamental principles of right and wrong. Moderates live in the twilight of both sides of an issue and slightly shift from one side or the other depending on the pressure they receive. Ultimately, they fear taking a defined position.
This is Kay. She is a center right...sometimes left RINO.
Being a moderate means you are afraid of making a decision and taking a stand about what is right and while being afraid of being wrong.
Being a moderate is sad.
Being a Conservative means you want to “conserve” the fundamentals that have made this country great. It is very simple. Conserve life, liberty and the FREEDOM to pursue happiness. You would think that this would be universally understood and supported, and when people are thinking clearly...it is, but, unfortunately there is intellectual confusion at work with liberals and moderates. Confused thinking equals confused results and is the kindling for many of our debates.
Being a liberal means you are clearly wrong about the fundamentals, but it is better than being a moderate. It is better to be clearly wrong than pretend to be above it all, “balanced” and “fair” in your positions.
It is better to be wrong and true than “moderate” and confused.
It is not wrong to demand clarity. It is our responsibly to insist on clear logical thinking and commitment of action from our “moderates” and pseudo-conservatives. It is our responsibility to help them understand that clarity of thought and strength are available to them as well.
“Moderate” thinking erodes clarity of action and is our enemies best friend.
