...How about Obama’s idea of a civilian defense group that is equally funded and equipped as the military.
Everyday it becomes more and more clear that this man is either horribly ignorant, confused, or a puppet repeating without thinking.
The only logic that makes any sense from this idea is he (or maybe his wife or Soros, whomever) wants a Gestapo type group to watch, report and control Americans. This seems crazy impossible to most of us...but, the fact is clear. We have the military and our National Guard to defend us in case of an invasion and (by the way about 300 million guns in the hands of true Americans).
There is no budget available for this kind redundancy and probably not constitutional. The only reason a “civilian defense group” would be needed is if you wanted to control the people. This sounds paranoid, but just look at all of Obama’s inconsistent logic...this man does not operate from a strong foundation of morality, reason and judgement. Also...keep in mind that prior to Hilter there was no Gestapo... and I bet if you asked the people of the period about Hitler creating a group of citizens to watch over and control the population, they would have said: “He is a patriot and a good man... are you crazy”.
History has proved otherwise.
It is the implications of this statement are profound... him saying it from a Teleprompter is worrisome. Does he think... or only repeat what others write for him?
Also, please note Michelle’s classic and scary quote of how...

That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed.”
This quote alone indicates a profound arrogance and a desire to control.
No freedom and faith loving American would utter these words.
As I have indicated in the past...I think Obama is a hollow man and most likely a puppet repeating without thinking. The idea of civilian defense force equalivant to our military is simply a stupid idea, being uttered by a man who isn't very smart
Lets hope that the voting Americans are very smart.
